I see her everyday, With an empty-looking soul, Waiting on her own, For someone to make her whole.
I wonder why she sits, So perfectly still, In a world so chaotic, Melancholy yet tranquil.
I wonder if she's real, As nobody seems to see, Her tear-streaked face, in the shadows except me.
Maybe one day we'll speak, And then I will know, Who's that girl in the corner, With her eyes so hollow.
